Just gave CachyOS a shot and I’m extremely impressed with the speed, customizability and provided tools! I’ve encountered a minor issue which I haven’t seen while using Gentoo or OpenSuSE Tumbleweed.
- I can’t enter my user password when selecting the kernel through
$ cachyos-kernel-manager since the terminal closes down and re-opens asking for the password again (I’m guessing the received password is invalid).
- This issue can also be observed occasionally with
$ sudo, when entering the password it says
Sorry, try again. on each attempt until I open a new foot terminal.
Steps to reproduce:
Using cachyos-community-v3 repo with 6.3.2-1-cachyos-pds kernel:
- Install CachyOS with Hyprland WM
- Install foot terminal:
$ pacman -S foot
- As a user, try to select a different kernel using
