It’s broken due to man using bat as pager
that’s bat issue and it was reported

vnepogodin Ok, but as long as it doesn’t work properly, which is still happening 3 months later, are you going to continue using this broken configuration that prevents you from reading the man pages?

The workaround is add set -x MANROFFOPT "-c" to the/usr/share/cachyos-fish-config/cachyos-config.fish or .config/fish/config.fish file.
