Hello, I have this boot time with systemd-boot and i think is a little bit slow for my laptop, i have a strong CPU. Firmware & Kernel take much time to load. I have a massively more powerful system than yours (overclocked zen4 ryzen 9 + ddr5 6000 cl30) and it takes longer than you. Given that, my system is so fast that the boot text doesn’t even appear (it goes from black to the kde login screen).

What did you compare it to, to make you think your system is slow?

The only thing you could try is to use menuconfig to compile all the drivers for your laptop in the kernel instead of modules, and remove the drivers your laptop doesn’t need. (but imho you are wasting a lots of your time here for little benefits).

Crestanzio a shorter boottime is more related to the hardware, then to software.
you can try to start the kernel direct with EFISTUB
and a minimal initramfs

start less services, if you want less boot time, and dis able unused hardware if possible

@MBK Sorry for late answer, i was a busy looking for job. I just compared with my older laptop (and broken now).
Lenovo IdeaPad 330-15IKB (i5-7200U/8GB/500GB/W10)

Sometimes when i boot with windows 10, i measure the boot time with a program called BootRacer and the result is only 9 sec. But now i have more powerful and faster hardware and i take bigger boot time.
